Google Pagerank update 6th December 2013

The last time Google updated his Page Rank was on 06th February 2013. It has been 9 months there wasn't any update regarding pagerank. Many of them were under the impression that the PR update might happen on 06th of February 2014.

However what I saw yesterday that Google PR update already happened on 06th of December this year. Page Rank was named after one of the founders of the Google, Larry Page. The counting number and quality links to your website crawled by Googlebot - a web spider, gives a rough idea how imperative your website is. The Page Rank is used to rank a website on the Google search engine result page done by Google web search engine.

Now as the update had been rolled out, I have seen most of the sites who were having a good PR have dropped by 2 ranks i.e. PR 2. There are new sites who have no backlinks and much data but still are having PR 1 or PR 2. According to me, i don't think that we should much rely on page rank. The reason behind is that i have noticed that blogs having PR 2 or PR 3 have more visitors than blogs having PR5 or PR 6.

How to increase a Page Rank?

Every website in the world today wants to increase their page rank however are lacking some or the other way in increasing it. Below are the points which might help in increasing the page rank like:
1. Good SEO structure
2. Get as many as Dofollow backlinks
3. Update Real and Quality contents
4. Optimize site or blog for search engines
5. Do Guest posting
6. Commenting on blogs
7. Participating in forums
8. Submitting your site to directories
9. Social bookmarking
10. Don't buy links
11. Internal linking
12. Banner Advertising

So now that you are aware about the Page rank factors, hope to see your site having good PR by next PR update. Also if anyone interested in sharing their experience of their website after the latest PR update on 06th December 2013 then please do this in the comments section below.

Review: "Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram-Leela"

Now it’s a time for a movie review which I saw yesterday at a cinema hall "Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram-Leela". The movie is directed by Sanjay Leela Bansali (SLB), apart from the direction the movie is produced, music, by SLB. SLB has directed many movies and each one is different from the other.

A film is shot in Gujarat and Udaipur and Film sity . The story is not a new story but it was of an SLB’s effort so it has to be different. The main cast member for the movie are Ranveer Singh as Ram, Deepika Padukone as Leela, Sharad Kelkar as Leela’s brother, Richa Chadda as Raseela – Leela’s sister-in-law, Supriya Pathak as Baa – Leela’s Mother, Gulshan Devaiah as Bhavani – Leela’s cousin, Barkha Bisht as Kesar – Ram’s sister-in-law, Abhimanyu Singh as Ram’s brother and Raza Murad as Sarpanch of the village.

The movie is about the Sanedo and Rajhadi community who are rivals of each other from past 50 decades. Ram is son of the head of Rajhadi community and Leela is daughter of head of Sanedo community. The village not only has the open market of vegetable, groceries, clothing and luxurious things but also has more shops where guns, bullets and knives are sold openly. You will not see both communities talking with words but will see them talking with guns. Ram is out of all this hatred and wants everyone to live in peace.

The movie is nice according to me it has somewhat story as of movies like Ishaqzaade, Qayamat se Qayamat tak. Supriya Pathak has done a superb acting. Almost all the characters have proved themselves by their acting. The music given by Monty Sharma and SLB makes you dance on every song. SLB has proved that he is great masterpiece by making Ranveer and Deepika acting like a matured actor. If it’s SLB the first thing comes to mind is the sets, music and acting of stars.

All in all an amazing movie presented by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his star cast. Good chemistry between Ranveer and Deepika. The movie has almost crossed rs.14 crore despite of limited release due to controversies. However according to me it’s worth watching Ram-Leela at the theatre or cinemas so that you can feel every beat of the music and songs.

LinkedIn is a social networking portal where you can connect with people of your same occupation or industry. It has been 10 years now LinkedIn has captured a market of the professional occupations. Its been reported by Quant cast that approximately 180 million unique visitors visits the site on a monthly basis. It is one of the best social networking sites so far. LinkedIn is gaining a lot of publicity these days and so should your LinkedIn profile.

Below are some points where you can create an impact of your LinkedIn account:

Profile: The very important thing you must remember is to create an impact of your profile. There are thumb rules which you should fill or add while creating your LinkedIn profile.

a. Attach a photo of yours in your profile. The photo should be of your own to let others know that it’s an active profile not a fake one.
b. Make you profile visible to others do not keep your profile as private. This will help others to search your profile.
c. Try to make relevant title or headline which describes your. For example, instead of writing your title as Finance Manager you can describe yourself as Corporate B2B Finance Manager."
d. In the summary section describe yourself about your work, projects and progress. This summary will elaborate yourself and your skills to others.
e. You have one more column of experience try to fill all the details of your experience in the company and how you achieved the success.

Managing a profile is very important as it will describe you to others. There must be some people who are actually looking to know more about you or share their experiences or wants some inputs from you hence make your title, summary and experience tab appealing for others.

Spend at least few minutes each day on LinkedIn and interact with customers, colleagues and superiors. Share whatever they are looking for or ask what you are looking for or things you want to know. Grow as many connections as you want. Try to send different message to customer, colleagues as an invitation, avoid using LinkedIn default message.

Groups: Participate in the groups to understand the questions and challenges which was also give a chance to create new opportunities. List groups where you actively participate and interact with others as LinkedIn shows only 7 groups on your profile hence display the best one. Search for the groups who are related to your industry or role specific, join and interact in those groups which will directly help you to an expansion of your reach. Avoid promoting excessive links and participate only if you have a value to add. Entering into any discussion and giving a valuable suggestion will help people of your industry to reach you as well as you will gain more reputation in that particular group.

Avoid falling into a Credit Card trap

Most of the people have moved on from paper money to plastic money. Most of them feel great when they use their credit card instead of paper money. We are not aware that 1% to 4% of the revenue generated by bank are from the interest we pay towards the credit card we use. Below i will help you out with the list of things you should be careful while using your credit card.

1. Minimum Amount due: Everyone must have used a credit card and would have got a statement for the outstanding amount to be paid within a specific duration as given by the bank. There are 2 sections of payment, one is total amount due and another is minimum amount due. Most of the new users do not check the Total amount due on their bill and only see the minimum amount due. Because of this people fall into the trap of interest which they need to pay in their next bill along with the purchases they make next month. I would request not to make the payment of Minimum Amount Due as you will be liable to make the payment of interest charged by the bank for not making the Total Amount Due.

2. Easy Monthly Installment (EMI): Rather than falling into making the minimum amount and paying the interest for it, i would suggest you to switch to EMI facility if it is available with your bank on your credit card. Now a days all the Banks are giving an option to convert the purchase amount into an EMI. To opt for an EMI please check the limit with your bank as they have some conditions for it. Also some banks are providing an EMI facility that too with out interest for 3 to 6 months(depends on banks)

For instance: With my credit card bill i received a brochure of getting an EMI facility on some selected brands/ dealers. Hence, I bought a washing machine for rs.10,000/- from one vendor. I called up the customer care of my bank and asked them to convert that transaction into an EMI. Now if i convert the transaction for 3, 6 or 9 months there is no processing fee which depends on banks according to months. Hence I opted for 6 months EMI according to my affordability. So now the EMI every will be 1666.66/1666.67 per month till 6 months with out any interest. But make sure when your bill generates make the total amount outstanding as per the statement, else will be charged interest for making the minimum amount due if you have any other transaction apart from EMI.

3. Cash Withdrawal: Many of customers think that this facility is provided by the bank to withdraw cash. Yes they are correct, but they are not aware that the charges for Cash Withdrawal starts from the time you withdraw cash. There is a one time transaction fee for withdrawing the cash which may by from 2.5% to 4%. Apart from a transaction fee there is also 33% to 40% interest charged annually(2.8% to 4% per month) at the time of bill statement. For more details regarding Cash witdrawal fee, do check the information provided on Moneycontrol.

4. Interest & Fees: Banks do sell a credit card after all verifications required and we accept the same however we not only accept the Credit Card but we also accepts some interests and fees. Many of us are aware Joining fees, renewal fees, interest charges and service charges but there are some charges like Late Payment fees, Cash Advance Trasaction fees, Over-limit charges, Fees on Cash Payment at branch, Outstation Cheque fee, Duplicate Statement request(more than 3 months), Card Replacement, Cheque or Card pickup, Chargeslip request.

So in all would like to recommend you to read the terms and consition before getting into buying any credit card. Now a days all banks do give a verification call after you recieve a new card and inform you about the features and charges of the Credit Card you hold, hence you can clarify your doubt on phone with them and take necessary steps. Also a suggestion to always check your current Card bill/ statement and make the full payment rather than going for the minimum payment to avoid charges. Always make the payment on time or before to avoid Late Payment charges. Also consult your customer care executive on phone or in bank about the pros and cons of cash withdrawal facility.

I Hope now most of us will not have a problem regarding using a credit card freely and easily.

How Fallen Rupee hits us

Dollar rates are increasing day by day and has created a bad impact on Indian Rupee. The Indian Rupee has fell very low against the dollar. The Value of Indian rupee has dropped approximately 8% from past 2 months. Current Account Deficit and Inflation rates may be one of the reason of the Indian Rupee falling more down in future. Check out the impact of the Dollar rise in India.

Education: People who are looking to go abroad for their studies, will have to shell out more money as the Dollar rates are increased. They will not only have to shell out more money on Education but also on their Accomodation and Food.

Travel: Many of us likes to spend holidays or to travel abroad. But now as the Indian Rupee has fallen to a very great extent, then they will have to reconsider on travelling abroad. The cost of travelling will be more expensive as compared to the cost in the past. For eg: Say, Last year you had been to America for 5 Days and the trip cost you around Rs. 5,15,000/- assuming the Dollar rate at 51.50 but now you will spend approximately Rs. 5,97,000/- assuming the dollar rate @ 59.70.

Cars: You are fond of the car and you always like to import the car from other countries. Now here you will face a lot of issues as explained above the rate of the Cars will increase too.

Oil Prices: India imports Oil from other countries and they do trade in dollars as a universal currency. Over here as the dollar rate has increased so will be the rate of the Petrol and Diesel.

Imports: India imports Oil, Gold and Iron ore from other countries and all such deals are made in Dollars currency. Hence the import will be very expensive for India and so will be the rates of Electronics, fuel prices and consumer products.

Exports: Depreciation in Rupee gives a lot of trouble in terms of expenses however Exporting commodities and other products will help us to get little more revenue. But having said that earlier this revenue will not help us to cover the losses as it India exports very few things into the market and is very difficult when there are competitors like China, Japan and Korea.

Companies: Hike in Dollar rates not only gives you loss but there are profits too. Oil and Automobile industries majorly depends on other countries hence there will be a worry to earn profit due to rupee getting weak. IT and BPO companies  will be in profit as most of them are outsourced from US hence they will gain revenue during this period. Also Pharmaceutical companies will be gaining revenue as they export more than import. Aviation companies will earn less in India as they will earn in Rupees but will have to spend in Dollars for fuels, etc.

Investments: This is the right time for the Non Resident Indians can gain more revenue. As the Rupee has depreciated, the  NRI's can go for buying the property in India as price of the property will cost them approximately 15%-20% less. For eg: Last Year, if the NRI plans to buy the house in Mumbai for $20,000 would get a 1 Room kitchen however as per the current rate he might get 1 bedroom-hall-kitchen for the same amount.

So here are my views about the Appreciation in Dollar rate and Depreciation in Rupee.

Habits that keeps you poor

It has become very difficult for us to survive in this world. People are depressed with a lot of things like less income, high expenses, paying EMI for loans, travelling, shopping, etc, still we find them living a good life.  Below are few points which should be taken care off else will make us poor?

Credit/ Debit Cards: Who does not want to live a luxurious life? Everyone wants right! But be careful as such life will only drown us down if we are a dependent on the salary and don’t have much bank balance. Avoid use of Credit or Debit cards as the shopping percentage is increasing on a monthly basis. Instead of Card try using hard Cash, the reason behind is, using card will not allow you to know much about the balance while swiping but while paying cash your mind will actually think twice before spending money as that will make you realize that you have done a lot of shopping. Such way will reduce your spending and you will save a lot.

Shopping: Shopping has become very important for our life as we are very busy with lot of functions like birthday, marriage, office meetings and parties. Apart from such functions there are many occasions where you will see a hike in Shopping. Occasions like Valentine day, Friendship day and so on, everyone wants to be a trend setter when it comes for clothing. There are some shopaholics who are just sitting idle in the malls getting bored as friends not arrived hence opts out for shopping. Some People do it just for the time pass, had a fight or an argument. Presenting a diamond ring to your loved ones or buying an expensive birthday gift for your colleague all such things again put you into debts as you will finally have to borrow some loan to repay it along with interest. It is always recommended to buy things only if it is necessary or required.

Status: If you have a new car, phone and clothes just for a show-off that doesn’t mean that you will be recognized everywhere. Your thoughts and simplicity creates your style status not worthy things. There are lots of people who change their lifestyle just because their peer colleagues are wearing new clothes or your neighbor has bought a new car. In today’s world, it’s our colleagues, neighbors and people around us decides what we should wear, how to live a life, what to buy and from where. According to me if these things are not controlled then will obviously make your poor.

Addictions: This point is as important as Shopping as it has become our habit which we cannot leave. Smoking, drinking, shopping in Malls, movies at multiplexes, lunch or dinner at a well known restaurant are the key things that plays an important role to ruin our money. Addictions slowly and gradually will make you poor from a rich or an average person. Rather substitute such things with chatting with friend personally, going for a long walk, playing indoor games like chess, carom with friends, reading books and news paper.

No Investment: There are people who thinks that saving rs.3000/- monthly will not help them to secure their future hence continue to spend even their savings. Such people do not see the brighter picture and ignore to secure their future. LIC not only helps you to save money for your future but also gives you a personal insurance or mediclaim benefits. Some people do think that going for an extra loan to buy XYZ product won’t make them poor hence keep on going more loans every year but do not see that are paying interest to the Bank or Institution which is again a loss for the buyer.

The above points help us to know where we stand in terms of monetary funds. Hence always recommended to take care of the above things and avoid using of unnecessary things. Stay away from all your addictions, ignore using cards and forget about the style status just for couple of months and you will enjoy seeing the amount of money you have saved.

The Myth behind Google Plus vote and shares

Since they appear to be aware of fraud votes seems to be a great idea to help Google find more specific search query. However, the impact through the purchase and manipulated search results ranking temptation, so that several owners, and engage in the Google vote exchange programs and other forms of technology, in Google's eyes look like spam. There was a time when GPLUS tickets really boost a separate specific ranking of search results, this day, however, is far behind.

Does these votes help with SEO: not exactly

Most of the People chose to go with the networks like exchanging Google plus vote just like we do link exchange which was assumed as unethical way by Matt Cuts. Some also got a rumors about Matt Cutts revealing that such techniques do not help in getting high rankings. But they contractually help in the search results, I will explain to you how.

Is the Voting killing Google plus itself?

The black hats SEO are also following these voting system as it indirectly helps them to get the high page rank. Google has initially removed the feature of voting system but now have become cautious of giving the right to vote once to each Google plus profile user. hence after reviewing the clients website i have realized that all votes are not created equally and that is what this is Google and the secret behind the biggest search engine.

Getting high PR by Authorship Rank

I was in confused whether my Gplus profile can get a high rank, almost all the links in the profile are dofollow links. Google has created engagement by the user when it comes to SEO. Hence by clicking on +1, by leaving a comment on a profile, by voting, helps you to create a link to your own profile and it indirectly helps you to get value to your account and increase the "page rank".

Now as we know that if clicked on +1 the vote actually counts, however if we do share that post and +1 it we get two votes on the G+ tracking snippets. Now if you get like and share, you indirectly get two back-links from a G+ profile or from Google to be precised. Get the report from the Google Webmasters and will see good increase of back-links from Google plus.

The real strength of Google+ Votes and shares

1. Active Gplus user value is much higher than the other users and people who do not use Google a lot of products. Plus one vote or share authority in a particular niche is more valuable than someone who just "plus one of all".
2. If there is a lot of interaction to the post which you have posted in the G plus then higher the chances of getting the link rank high.
3. The power behind the Google plus is you get a do-follow plugin back-links from Google. Now .EDU or. GOV links used to help you before, imagine that Google can do a link to your site? Of course, this link depends on the person to give it, but you get the point, right?

The more you communicate with people who are in your niche / market more, you will help to to build your Gplus Authorship rankings and increase the value of SEO, your votes and shares.

Don't forget to update the comments on the post as well as plus one the post on Google plus.

Tips for playing safe Holi

Holi is one of the major festivals celebrated in India. The festival is celebrated not only by Hindus as the major community in India but by all other community too. Holi makes us remember about the story of Hiranyakashipu a king of devils and his son Prahlada who was a devotee of Lord Krishna and Kings Sister “Holika” the origin word for Holi who had a boon that she will never die or get burned by fire.

The festival is celebrated to farewell the winter and welcome the spring season for harvest. It is celebrated by holding a bonfire and throwing powder colors at each other.  During Holi people celebrates by coloring each other faces especially with “Gulal”. Some use very dark colors or colors that are not very easy to be removed by splashing water or taking a bath. People take one whole day to remove the colors from their faces body.

Below are some ways that you can take care before and after playing Holi.

Preventions before Holi:

1.    Try to use only natural and organic powder color as they are easy to remove by water.
2.    Washing your hair after hair is the worst job to do, hence apply Coconut oil to protect your hair.
3.    Oil not only plays a vital role for your hair but can also apply the same on your Earlobes, behind your ears and your nails where the colors settles for days if not washed properly.
4.    Lips are also exposed when applied the color on your face hence apply lip-balm or lipstick before playing Holi.
5.    The best way to keep your head and hair safe is to tie scarf which will cover your head and hair.
6.    Do not wear any lenses while playing Holi to avoid irritation in your eyes.
7.    Cover almost all parts of your body. Try not to wear Denims as they take very long time to dry. Wear light not heavy clothes.
8.    Put cotton in your ears to avoid colors going deep inside.

After Holi:

1.    Do not take a snap immediately after playing Holi as it will be difficult to remove colors if stayed longer.
2.    Dust off the dry color before washing it with water.
3.    Never use a detergent instead use a mild cleanser to get rid of the color.
4.    Never apply kerosene or Nail polish remover to clean instead use a cotton dipped in oil or cream.
5.    If the color doesn’t comes out of your head after applying Shampoo do not try to shampoo it again rather wait for a day or two and then apply it again to get rid of the color in hair.
6.    Use conditioner after applying shampoo hair else will make you scalp dry.
7.    Please do not try to get rid of the color at the one go it might take few days so have patience.

I hope you all must have got the instruction about how to play a safe Holi. Please follow the above instructions and you will have a better day than others.

How to Increase Visibility for your Online Business in Search Engines

Now a days there are thousands of websites getting created on a daily basis. All of them are equally interested in Online business. Many webmasters do lack lot of things which I will be taking about in this post. The main goal of an Online business should be to increase an online visibility as without that they will not get any traffic and hence will never increase their sales. There are many ways you can increase your site visibility and get the site more and more sales.

Here are some strategies which I think can increase the site's visibility, traffic and sale:

Use of Social Networking: Social Networking sites are now a days booming the networking industry. You can only get the better ranking on your article submission is by increasing the number of backlinks with good PR sites. It is one of the very old method of link building strategies in SEO and it not only increases the backlinks but also helps to drive traffic from such Article Submission websites.
