New Year 2014 Resolution

 Happy New Year 2014
2013 was very imperative year for me; I’ve learned a lot of things from this year. There were many ups and downs in my life this year. Alike other years I too will enjoy this night with full of joy. But what needs to be changed is that I need to plan for my next year. Year 2014, I have to make sure that I should achieve all my targets in life. The targets are not only related to my professional targets but also are related to my personal life too.

Till date, I had not done any planning for my future or the coming year. But from this year, I have planned a lot many things that need to be followed and completed by 2014 year end. I have seen many of my friends who have their resolutions like being fit, early morning exercise, quit smoking, following some diet, drink less or may be quit drinking, Clearing all the remaining debts, do savings and spending time with the family. Most of the vows fail due to lack of planning or lack of will. But this year I am going to stick to my resolutions and follow them as much as possible.

Below is the list of resolution which I am going to follow this year 2014.

Being Positive: This is the most important thing in my life. Like others I too get scared in making some decisions and fall into the thoughts of Negativity. Hence this year I will try to be positive in whatever decision I take, yes off course the good ones and not the bad ones.

Maintain Good Health: This year 2013, I had totally ignored this part and will make sure that I try to lose my weight. The daily schedule should include Jogging, brisk walking, skipping rope exercise and some weight lifting.

Donating: I am planning to help at least one child for education by donating some fund to an Orphanage. Kids in Orphanage do require attention and some money for their studies and daily needs hence I am planning to donate some funds this year.

Being Honest: This is one of the important factors where every human lacks. Though there is always a reason for not being honest but I will try to be honest at my work, with my family and most important to myself.

Family: We are most of the time busy spending 12 to 15 hours of a day, 6 days in a week at work. We do not even think about our family and spend time with them. We do have time for other things but not for our family. We should at least give 20 to 30 days in a year for our family by going out of town or on some tour.

Focus on Work: Another objective to be looked at is work. We need to be more than 100% focused on things where we need to achieve the targets and completing it before deadlines. Try to get as many opportunities you can at work and try to achieve it.

Financial: Apart from the deadlines, families and health we should never forget to accumulate funds for our future. Try to save money for your retirement by investing in insurance companies or equities or mutual funds.

That’s all my friends hope we all stick to the above points and make sure have a healthy and prosperous New Year ahead.

Bye Bye 2013 and a Grand welcome to New Year 2014.

  3. Sounds like a great resolution list....may I suggest juicing in place of meals once or twice a day. I am juicing twice a day and eating a sensible dinner. It's not an unhealthy way to diet because you'll get all the vitamins and nutrients that your body needs. If you have any questions about juicing just ask me I'll be glad to help. Good luck with your resolutions!

  4. Hi Chintan,
I am pleased with your inclusion of family as part of your New Resolutions. I must admit that building relationships with members of your family is one of the most important things one should do.
